BLUE CANVAS Projects
– a little bit about us
We are a group of art lovers, art collectors and artists who over many years have experienced how difficult it is for talented artists to show and exhibit their art.
We have therefore also experienced that many talented artists stop making art despite many years of study at art academies.
It is too difficult to make a living from your art if you cannot show your art to anyone.
We want to give next generation of art lovers to acquire their first work of art, at one of our BLUE CANVAS Project's exhibitions.
BLUE CANVAS Projects, organizes and curates’ art exhibitions in temporary premises that are vacant, between lettings.
A network of property owners who are happy to make their temporarily empty premises available to talented artists, from both Denmark and abroad.
We are in the age of the sharing economy! BLUE CANVAS Projects matches the many unused M2 with skilled artists who lack a place to exhibit, gives ordinary people the opportunity to have a wonderful art experience and maybe start the next generation of art collectors.
We want to give talented artists more visibility in the public eye with a new platform to have their art disseminated.
BLUE CANVAS is founded by artist Gabriel Pereyra & myself Gitte Andersen.
